Turn Skool Milestones Into Verifiable Certificates With Wauld
Connect Skool to Wauld and automatically issue verifiable certificates and badges to your members, from the moment a new member joins your group to the day a cohort completes your course.

From a Skool trigger to a verified credential
Build the automation once so credentials go out from the moment members join, then send everything Skool cannot trigger in a single upload.
Skool trigger fires
A new member successfully completes payment and joins your paid group, or an applicant answers the questions on your application form. Both are available as Skool triggers in Zapier.
Zapier reaches Wauld
Your Zap hands the member's name and email straight to Wauld, with no coding involved. For the milestones Skool cannot trigger, a CSV of finishers does the same job in one upload.
Credential is issued
Wauld maps the member's details to your chosen template and issues the certificate or badge in seconds.
Member receives their credential
A verifiable certificate or badge lands in the recipient's inbox, along with an invite to share it and add it to their profile.

Reward Every Milestone in Your Skool Community
Give members, students, and clients proof of what they achieved inside your group

Joins your paid community
Payment clears, the New Paid Member trigger fires, and a welcome credential reaches your new member before they have finished exploring the group.

Answers membership questions
This trigger fires as soon as an applicant submits their answers, while the request is still pending, so pair it with a Zapier filter or your own review step before any credential goes out.

Completes a course
Recognize members who complete a course in your classroom with a verifiable certificate they can show an employer, a client, or their own audience.

Levels up in your community
Skool levels run from 1 to 9. Mark the ones that matter with a badge that makes the climb visible well beyond your group.

Tops the leaderboard
Issue badges to the members at the top of your 7 day, 30 day, or all time leaderboard, and give your best contributors a reason to keep showing up.

Completes your full curriculum
Bundle every finished course into one certification that carries far more weight than any single lesson badge and marks real expertise.
Connect Skool to Wauld Without Coding
Skool publishes no public API and no outgoing webhooks, so the Zapier plugin on Skool's Pro plan handles every event Skool can trigger, and a CSV upload covers the rest

FAQs
Answers to common questions about the Zapier triggers, Skool plan requirements, and bulk issuance
Does Skool have built-in certificates?
No. Skool has no certificate builder, so there is nothing to design, issue, or verify inside your group. Wauld adds that layer on top: you build the certificate or badge template once, connect it to Skool, and every credential you send carries a unique ID, a QR code, and a public verification page.
How do I integrate Skool with Wauld to issue credentials?
Through Zapier, the automation platform Skool ships a plugin for. Its triggers and actions there are limited to four in all, and two of them are triggers: New Paid Member and Answered Membership Questions. Point either one at Wauld's Issue Credential action, map the member's name and email, and the matching certificate or badge goes out on its own every time it fires. The same Zap can carry that member data further in the same run, into your CRM, a Google Sheets tab, or a Mailchimp list.
Do I need Skool's Pro plan for the Zapier integration?
For the automated half, yes. The Skool help center states that the Zapier plugin is only available on the Pro plan and not on the Hobby plan, so a Hobby group cannot issue anything via Zapier. Bulk issuance from Wauld works on any Skool plan, so Hobby groups can still send every certificate; they do it in batches rather than in real time.
Can I issue certificates when a member completes a course?
Yes, in bulk. Skool has no course completion trigger, so you pull your finishers out of the classroom into a CSV, upload it to Wauld, and map the columns once. Every recipient gets a personalized, verifiable certificate. Most Skool creators run this at the end of a cohort or on a weekly schedule.
Can I reward levels and leaderboard rankings?
Yes, using the same bulk route. Skool's points and levels run from level 1 to level 9, with 7 day, 30 day, and all time leaderboards, but none of them are exposed as a trigger. Export the members who leveled up or topped the leaderboard, then issue their badges in a single upload.
Can I unlock a Skool course when a member earns a credential?
Yes, by running the workflow in reverse. Wauld can trigger a Zap the moment a credential is issued, and Skool's Unlock Course for Member action then opens the next course for that member. It turns a certificate into the key that unlocks the following stage of your curriculum.
Do I need a developer to set up the integration?
No, the Zapier route is no-code automation from end to end. Open the Plugins menu in your Skool group settings, copy the API key next to the Zapier plugin, and use it to authenticate the connection in Zapier, then pick Wauld as the action. Bulk issuance needs nothing but a CSV file. Most teams quickly connect the two apps and are live in under an hour.
Can Skool members share their certificates and badges on LinkedIn?
Absolutely. Every credential is ready to add to a LinkedIn profile in one click, so members showcase their achievement while your group and your courses reach a wider professional audience.
Which Wauld pricing plan includes the Skool integration?
Every route on this page works on Wauld's Free plan. Zapier, bulk CSV issuance, and engagement analytics are all included at no cost, and Google single sign-on gives issuers and recipients one secure login. As your community grows, higher tiers add more credentials, extra workspaces and users, and a fully white-labeled experience on your own domain.
What happens to my issued credentials if I downgrade or cancel my paid plan?
Once issued, your digital credentials remain valid and accessible to recipients even if you cancel your subscription. After your plan expires, features exclusive to paid plans will no longer be available, but all features included in the free plan will continue to work.
